I'm somehow back at high school, in a class talking to a teacher while we wait for class to start. I realize that I accidentally have my gun in my waistband, and I get nervous about being caught and labeled a criminal. I choose to leave the school, as I'm not required to be there seeing as I graduated in 2011. I walk home, which in this dream is near the waterfront. Passing some restaurants, I hear gunshots. I still have my gun on me, but I choose to run as opposed to playing the hero. I run off, and end up in a fenced in park at dark, and I have to wedge myself under the fence to get out. Continuing back towards home, I see men with guns, the ones who were shooting earlier. They are holding people hostage. This time, I draw my gun and fire. Time seems to slow down, and my shot hits the gunman in the forehead. He goes down, but gets back up and shakes the cops hand. Apparently it was an elaborate joke on me. I don't understand how my bullet didn't actually harm him, but I continue home. After getting turned around, I try to use an app on my phone that would teleport me home, but it isn't working. Eventually I find my house. I go in to find it trashed, with ants infesting the place, so I vacuum them up.
This dream appears to be a reflection of your inner fears, anxieties, and unresolved issues. Being back in high school suggests that you may be experiencing feelings of regression or a longing for the past. The presence of a gun in your waistband implies a hidden or dangerous aspect of yourself that you are trying to suppress or hide. It represents a potential for violence or harm, which you fear being discovered for and labeled a criminal.
Leaving the school and walking home near the waterfront can symbolize your desire to escape from a current situation or to distance yourself from the past. The gunshots you hear while passing restaurants evoke a sense of danger and chaos in your environment. Choosing to run away instead of confronting the situation suggests a tendency to avoid conflict and seek safety.
Finding yourself in a fenced park at night represents feeling trapped in a difficult or challenging situation. Wedging yourself under the fence suggests the need to find creative solutions to overcome obstacles in your life. Encountering the gunmen holding people hostage reveals your awareness of the presence of threats or negative influences in your surroundings.
When you draw your gun and fire at the gunman, it symbolizes your desire to defend yourself and take control of the situation. However, the fact that your bullet doesn't harm him and it turns out to be an elaborate joke on you suggests a feeling of powerlessness or a lack of control in your waking life. This may indicate that you often feel deceived or manipulated by others.
The failed attempt to teleport home using your phone app represents your longing for a quick fix or an easy escape from your current circumstances. Its malfunction implies that there are no easy solutions to your problems and that you need to face them directly.
Finally, discovering your trashed house infested with ants represents feelings of disorder, turmoil, and dissatisfaction in your personal life. Vacuuming them up symbolizes your attempt to regain control and eliminate the nuisances or challenges that are bothering you.
Overall, this dream suggests that you may be dealing with unresolved fears, a desire for escapism, a lack of control, and a need to confront and overcome the obstacles in your waking life.
